Simple Avocado Grande (Guacamole)
3 Haas Avocados
1 diced tomato
1/4 t salt
1/4 t garlic powder
Hint of cayenne pepper
1 t lemon juice
Start with ripe avocados (not mushy and no brown spots inside). To open it, cut around the seed not through it.
Next, squeeze or spoon out the seed.
Spoon out the flesh of the avocado and place in a container with a lid. Dice the avocado and add salt, garlic and pepper. Mix well and flatten in the container on top.
Smear lemon juice on top to keep it from turning brown,
close lid and refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir in lemon
jucie completely before serving. For best flavor serve the
same day.
